MEET THE STAFF
Rev. Esther Rendon-Thompson, Interim Senior Pastor, brings with her a wealth of experience as an Interim Minister having served in that capacity in Westwood, Andover, Beverly, and East Bridgewater. She received her B.A. in Christian Education from the Theological Baptist Seminary in Venezuela and her M.A. degree in Religious Studies from Hartford Seminary. In 2000, Rev. Esther was called to and trained by the Intentional Interim Ministry Network. Together with her husband Kevin, Rev. Esther comes to us eager to serve the Lord and become a part of our community.
Rev. Kristy Coburn, Associate Pastor, first joined us officially on August 15, 2004, as Minister of Christian Education. Rev. Kristy has a Master of Divinity degree from Andover Newton Theo. School. Her background experience includes funeral ministry, volunteer work in Early Childhood Education and Spiritual Care and Bereavement counseling. Prior to joining us, Rev. Kristy served as an interim CE director at Abington UCC. During a Special Meeting of members on August 13, 2006, Rev. Kristy began her new ministry as our Associate Pastor.
The Minister of Music is Lin Schuller. Lin is a professional voice coach, both for speaking and singing. Lin's choral direction has moved our choir, a truly inspired group of singers, to the next level or two. Lin is able to bring out the best of everyone's voice.
Gabrielle Heath is our pianist and organist. As a polished professional, Gabrielle is able to bring out the best in everyone.
The Sexton is Bill Hall. He keeps our church home clean and prepares the church for Sunday worship and other activities. (We have over 30 groups per month that use the church home for their events.)
Charlie Brandes is the new Office Coordinator. He maintains the website, publishes Steeple Sounds, prepares the weekly worship bulletins, and more. When he's not in the office, he is usually at home attempting to be a worthy caregiver to his two sons.
